No. Search for your business by name — we match it by Google Place ID and sync reviews on our servers. You never sign in with Google or connect a Business Profile to get started. Many other review widgets cap at about five testimonials when they rely on the Google Places API alone; that endpoint returns at most five reviews per place, with no pagination. Providers that show more without a dedicated sync service typically require OAuth sign-in and a verified Google Business Profile. On paid plans, GR Widget automatically syncs many more (30 on Site, unlimited on Business, unlimited on Agency) with no Business Profile connection. The Free plan includes up to 10 synced reviews. Connecting Google Business Profile remains optional.
Widgets sync automatically on a schedule — weekly on Free and Site, and daily on Business and Agency. When a new review is published on Google, it will appear in your widget after the next sync without editing your embed code.
